I, Rajesh Kumar, after working in the institute as a daily wage employee for about two and a half years, passed the written examination in 1992 and became a permanent clerk (LDC). Presently, I am working as an Administrative Officer in General Section. When I joined the institute, at that time this Association was being established. Some people openly did social work while most people hid their caste identity. Because my family environment has been of social work and struggles, therefore, I was familiar with the life and struggle of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and was also influenced by him. On the advice and pressure of some close friends, I contested the election of that year in 2004-2008 and became the General Secretary of the Association. Name of the cancer institute as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Rotary Cancer Hospital Institute and install his statue at the main gate.
